Year 4

WB 01.06.20

Hello Year 4! I hope you had a wonderful half term and enjoyed the sunshine. Things start to be a little different for us this week. Miss King, Mrs Stone and I will be spending even more time in school teaching, as Year 6 are returning to school and we are needed to teach them. If we don't respond as quickly as usual when you email us, please don't worry, we will get back to you as soon as we are able. We miss you terribly and can't wait to see you all again - as soon as it is safe to do so...

Keep smiling and keep doing your best with the 'Home Learning'...

Sending virtual hugs and smiles to you all ...

Hello lovely Year 4 children! We don’t want you to end up with a brain like a cabbage or a body like a jelly, so it’s really important that you keep using both until we meet again.

This is where you will find work to keep you going at home. You may e-mail your completed work to your class teacher at the address below if you would like some feedback or bring your work with you when you return to school. You can also tell us your news and send us any messages and photos if you want so we can keep in touch. We miss you a lot!

Mrs Stone –

Mrs Cushing –

Miss King -

These temporary e-mails have been set up to keep in touch with you and give you feedback on your work, if you require it. If your parents have general questions about school please ask them to contact the school office in the usual way. We look forward to hearing what you have been getting up to!

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your family: helping around the house, baking, gardening, painting, crafting, dressing up, making up plays, caring for your pet, listening to music and dancing around the kitchen. These are some of the things we would love to do with you at school, if we had the time.

We can’t wait to see all your 'beautiful, happy' faces when we are all back together again.

Have fun and stay safe!

Mrs Cushing, Miss King and Mrs Stone.

We are now starting to read: 'The Explorer' by Katherine Rundell - we hope you enjoy it!  Click on this link:  Year 4 YouTube Channel to watch.
